Marquette University Selected KSA to provide design services for the renovation of the O'Brien House, a historic townhouse located in the Capitol Hill Historic District in Washington, DC. Constructed in 1880, the O'Brien House is home to 24 undergraduate students participating in the Les Aspin Center for Government-Marquette University's semester internship program in Washington, DC. Comprehensive design services include: modifications to the floor plans, new kitchens and bathrooms, new finishes and millwork, new MEP and life safety systems, façade restoration and window replacements. The project required presentations and approval by the Capitol Hill Historic Society, HPRB and other regulatory agencies.
